Kris attends awards night despite being sick: I’m not so OK, I feel dizzy
FOR the first time in a long time, the Queen of All Media, Kris Aquino, appeared in public again.

Kris has been in the Philippines for a long time but this is the only time she attended an event despite her long-standing illnesses that she also underwent treatment for in America for several years.

According to GMA, Kris attended the People Asia People of the Year 2025 awards night last night, February 25, in support of her friend Michael Leyva.

The award-winning actress-TV host can be seen in the video wearing a pink blazer and yellow underwear with a matching floral skirt and a yellow face mask.

According to Kris, she did not want to miss that important day for Filipino fashion designer Michael, who is one of the awardees of the People Asia People of the Year 2025.

“There are people who say that I’ll be there for you or you can count on me. But Michael has proven that so many times and in so many ways,” Kris said of Michael.

She added, “And he gave his two cars for us. You’ve compromised.”

Kris also made a fitting return appearance at an event for the 39th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution, which is still alive because of her parents, Sen. Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino, Jr. and former President Corazon “Cory” Aquino.

When Kris was asked about this, “I actually thought today is the 24th, tomorrow is the 25th. He was the one who told me. He said (last night) ‘How are you, tomorrow is…’ So, I said, ‘Perfect!’ Really perfect coming out.”

She also apologized for arriving late to the event she attended, “They had trouble waking me up because I started a new medicine last night.”

And when asked how her health condition is, Kris replied, “I’m not so okay. I’m dizzy.”
