Anne Curtis Cries Over Vhong Navarro’s Condition (Video)

Anne Curtis, earlier today during the opening of “It’s Showtime,” offers a prayer for co-host Vhong Navarro who has been brutally attacked in Taguig.

Vhong nandito kami para sa ‘yo, we’d like to take this moment to pray for you,” Anne Curtis said on Saturday during the opening of the Kapamilya noontime show “It’s Showtime.”

NavarroThe hosts of “It’s Showtime” offered a moment of silence and a prayer last Saturday (Jan 25) for their co-host Vhong Navarro after news broke he was beaten up in a condominium in Taguig City, which triggered an outpouring of support for the actor-comedian and outrage over the brutal assault on him.

“Thanks to all our Kapamilya who were with us last night to pray and who expressed their love for Vhong,” said Vice Ganda in Filipino during the noontime show’s opening. “We are thankful that Vhong is still alive and he’ll still be with us.”

“Vhong, we’re here for you. We’d like to take this moment to pray for you,” a tearful Anne Curtis said before leading the prayer for her co-host.

Messages of support for Vhong from celebrities and fans also flooded social media, making the hashtag #PrayForVhongNavarro top Twitter’s worldwide trending topics.
