Did Mommy Min just debunk unverified info involving daughter Kathryn?
Kathryn Bernardo’s mother Min Bernardo has a warning about the “fake news” associated with the Kapamilya actress.
This is amid baseless information that Kathryn and ex-boyfriend Daniel Padilla are back together.
February 23, 2025 when controversial internet personality Xian Gaza posted this on her Facebook page.
Xian also made a joke in her post that Kathryn and the actress’ rumored boyfriend Alden Richards are just friends.
That same day, Mommy Min released a statement.
When Mommy Min was asked for a message for Kathryn’s fans, this is what she apparently said: “I know them very well. Don’t believe too much in fake news.”
Mommy Min did not say exactly which “fake news” she was referring to.
In the comments section, netizens asked if Mommy Min’s video was recently posted.
Some confirmed that it was new.
It is said that it is related to the reported reunion of Kathryn and Daniel.
They commented that Mommy Min should be believed more than the unverified information that others are spreading.
Daniel and Kathryn were last seen in public when they were onstage together at the ABS-CBN Christmas Special and Asia Artist Awards in December 2023.
On the other hand, some also asked what the development is between Kathryn and Alden.
Many of Kathryn and Alden’s fans expressed hope that the two are getting better.
Kathryn and Alden have not yet been seen together as of the beginning of 2025.

In January 2025, Cristy Fermin’s vlog discussed that Alden and Kathryn were “just having an affair”.
The two are no longer close compared to when their movie Hello, Love, Again was in theaters.
Cristy also made a disclaimer that she did not know if the two were having a personal conversation.
On February 8, Ogie Diaz’s vlog discussed that Alden had stopped courting Kathryn.
Ogie did not give any other details other than this.
Yesterday, February 24, Alden had a cryptic post on his Instagram Story.
He said: “Food for thought: Mind your own business.”
The actor did not directly comment on what his post was for.
Currently, Kathryn and Alden have not made any direct statements about the status of their respective love lives.
KATHRYN BERNARDO ALSO BEING LINKED TO MAYOR MARK ALCALA
Meanwhile, Kathryn is also being linked to the incumbent mayor of Lucena City, Quezon, Mark Alcala.
Alcala is the ex-boyfriend of Kapuso actress Ashley Ortega.
When Jojo Gabinete of Cabinet Files saw Alcala in Lucena City on February 18, he tried to ask the mayor about the news that he is dating Kathryn.
But Alcala refused to give any statement.
