Sharon recalls her past with Robin
MANILA — Actress Sharon Cuneta recalled her relationship with Robin Padilla after receiving negative comments from netizens for her constant sharing of stories and photos of her and Robin.

On her Facebook page on Tuesday, Sharon insisted that she did not post photos of her and Robin with malice.

According to Sharon, Robin is the only ex-girlfriend she is close to as a friend.

The actress also said that she is happy for Robin and his wife Mariel Rodriguez.

She also said that she hopes that people will understand why she posts things related to Robin, especially since they have a new movie in the works.

Please don’t let other people take offense and give malice to my posting of photos and stories of Robin and me.
He happens to be the closest to me among my exes, and truth be told, it took a long time – many years – for us to reach this stage because of the unpleasant part of our history, so it’s important to me to nurture our friendship. Robin is the one who always sympathizes with me and I complain about him. He is the one who is surprisingly willing to support my work. When my Mommy died, he was the only one who went to the wake twice and attended mass among all my exes. I don’t have any exes that I can consider a real friend after breaking up, except for Rowell. But I’m probably closer to Brother Randy than to him now. Don’t worry. In the 26 years that Robin and I have known each other, in the first 5 years he tried to get back at me a few times but I really couldn’t even if I wanted to. So if I wanted him as a lover or husband and I wasn’t afraid, I wish I had!


Since I was a child, I have NEVER shown any motive or pursued or cheated on my boyfriends. Even if you ask them all, including my directors and those I was with on the set, they would say it’s true. Ask Kiko too! Because I’m not beautiful in my own right and I’m even surprised when someone falls in love with me that I didn’t expect! They know that. And I don’t like it when I don’t have satisfaction if I’m not the one who’s been courted and really loved, because I’m not the one who’s been in our whole relationship because I’m afraid he wasn’t the one who liked me first!
I am very happy for Robin and Mariel and their new family. I know how much Robin loves her and he knows how precious my family is to me, too. Please, we’re old! Hahaha! I have been and will continue to post photos and maybe more stories about us so that this new generation will know that during our time, like we were Kathniel or Lizquen or Jadine now. And also more importantly, for our fans who grew up with us and fell in love with our movies and team-up. I love him and he loves me, but we don’t have “M” (maliciousness! Hahaha!) in each other. We just want to make you happy and enjoy working together again.
So just relax! I love Robin but if Kiko is not in my life, I will only go back to one. It can’t be done because he is already married. And sorry, you will never know who he is and you don’t know him. I thought before that the “love of my life” was also an artist (they always competed with Robin for my ❤️ but he always came out on top). After a few years I realized it wasn’t! No way. And I have my husband and children now.
So I hope that those people that leave mean messages here and in my other social media accounts now will understand why I am posting about me and Robin. We have a new MOVIE after so many years! So I hope if you love him even just him, instead of putting malice in my posts, you help us and our movie! Any success of that project is also for the families and for both of us. Okay po?!
