Sen. Ramon Bong Revilla, Jr. was overjoyed after being honored for his starring teleserye “Agimat ng Agila” which has been dominating the ratings for some time due to the attention of its many fans.
“Agimat ng Agila” was one of the winners of the 35th Star Awards for Television of the Philippine Movie Press Club, Inc. (PMPC) last Saturday night, January 28. This is one of the many awards that GMA 7 won.
Because viewers did not let “Agimat ng Agila” go from start to finish, it was awarded the ‘Best Drama Mini-Series.’
The awards night was held at the grand ballroom of the Windford Manila Resort and Casino, Manila, presided over by PMPC President, Fernan de Guzman.
GMA 7 won as Best TV Station. It won 27 awards in 48 categories.
“These awards are very important because they inspire us to work harder. We are very grateful for these recognitions,” said Sen. Bong.
Many enjoyed, were excited, followed and were hooked on the two seasons of “Agimat ng Agila.” Sen. Bong is tight-lipped about their new project, but many are already looking forward to it.
“What we are preparing is not a mini-series but a big production. It is difficult to give details right now but, you know, you might be watching us every day. Just stay tuned,” the actor-Senator laughed.
