Netizens have trolled a TikTok video by GMA Network featuring Kapuso star Sanya Lopez featuring the official music video of her song “Hot Maria Clara” in July 2022.

The caption of the TikTok video reads, “From #FirstLady to #HotMariaClara, @sanya_lopez can do it all! Join the #HotMariaClaraDanceChallenge and show us your moves!”

An X post by the account “Auntie Selina” on January 26 seems to compare the song to Kapamilya star Maymay Entrata’s “Amakabogera”.

Star Music released the music video of Maymay’s popular song in October 2021.

According to the X user, “When they tried to imitate Maymay Entrata’s ‘Amakabogera’ but ended up flopping so hard.”
