Robin Padilla to star in horror film

Action star Robin Padilla is being eyed to do a horror movie with Japanese actress Maria OzawaThe development was announced by actor-turned-producer Troy Montero, who is part of the film’s production.

“Its official, our next movie will star Robin Padilla & Maria Ozawa. Here we go! #mmff2015,” said Troy, referring to the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival.

According to PEP contributor Mell Navarro, the proposed project is titled Nilalang, and is an action/suspense/thriller movie. The film will be produced by Haunted Tower Pictures, Inc., which recently produced Binhi (The Seed), which starred Mercedes Cabral and Joem Bascon, among others.

“I feel so sorry for the film, director’s, staff..etc.”

Sa official statement na inilabas ng kampo ni Robin kahapon, August 11, pinili umano ng action star na umurong sa proyekto upang alagaan ang kanyang misis na si Mariel Rodriguez, na kasalukuyang nagdadalantao.

Hati ang komento ng Instagram followers ni Maria tungkol sa isyu.

Sa isang comment, ipinagtanggol ng isang netizen si Robin at sinabing hindi dapat tawaging “unprofessional” si Robin dahil ginawa lamang ng aktor ang nararapat dahil prayoridad nito ang kanyang pamilya.

Sinagot naman ito ni Maria.

Pahayag ng dating adult-video actress, dapat noong una pa lamang ay sinabi na ni Robin na aatras siya at hindi na naghintay pang magsabi kung kailan malapit nang simulan ang shooting, at hindi inilagay sa alanganin ang staff and crew ng production team.
