Kylie Padilla, Aljur Abrenica split up allegedly due to third party, according to Robin Padilla
Veteran actor Robin Padilla admitted that his daughter Kylie Padilla and her husband Aljur Abrenica have separated allegedly due to the actor’s womanizing.

In the vlog of talent manager and artist Ogie Diaz, Padilla recounted that Kylie herself broke up with her husband.

“I always asked Kylie, ‘Are you upset?’ She said no. ‘I’m fine.’ So, I asked again, ‘Son, are you upset?’ ‘No, Pa, I broke up with you,’” Robin said.

The action star also stated that a third party was the reason for the two’s breakup, something he understands as a man especially since he has allegedly cheated on her several times before. He said there is, yes. Yes, is that impossible? That’s not impossible. Yes, he’s a man,” said Robin. “That can’t happen. It’s ridiculous that it can’t happen [the third party issue], especially since we’re in showbiz.”

He added that he doesn’t believe that any man can refuse the temptation of women.

Although he explained his opinion to Kylie, he said that his son couldn’t handle Aljur’s betrayal, so he didn’t interfere.

“That’s just it, martyrs are not in fashion anymore. Let’s face it, we’re not there anymore. That’s the first thing I told Kylie when we talked. ‘Your husband is a man. Thank you, you know he’s a man.’ Well, no, he said he couldn’t,” Padilla said.

Despite what happened, Robin also has no intention of interfering in the couple’s dispute because he said only they can fix it.

“The father has no role in it. I, ha, shouldn’t interfere. It’s a fight between the couple. There are still children. It hurts me, of course, the remembrance, eh. ‘The grandchildren are with their mother. But that’s not an issue for me,” Robin explained. Only two people can fix that, Kylie and Aljur. In my opinion, that’s baduy for me. ‘If you approach me like that, I’ll just look at you.”

She also won’t allow it if her daughter talks to Abrenica to tell her what she did. According to Robin, she will only be embarrassed, especially if Abrenica brings up the issue of feminism back at her.

“Oh, I won’t allow it if Kylie says that either. What will I say to Aljur? ‘You’re a scumbag! Why are you being a woman?’ Aljur will tell me, ‘Why are you being a woman, Pa, aren’t you being a woman?’ I don’t want to answer that. I don’t want to. I’ll be embarrassed,” she said with a laugh.

But she told the actor to avoid making it known on social media because one day their children will see it.

“I just messaged him. I said, ‘I only want one. Stop being on social media. That’s embarrassing. I have nothing to do with it. That’s your problem. Think about your children,’” Robin replied.

“To me, two couples who can’t get along, you shouldn’t break up and fight. Why? You fell in love. You both had a hard time. What’s the reason? Because one of them cheated? You’re human, that happens and will happen.”

He also clarified that no physical harm happened to the two, something he wouldn’t let slip if he found out that Abrenica had laid hands on Kylie.

“Of course, my first questions were, ‘Did you get hurt?’ That’s the first question. We’ll only go there if your child gets hurt. Nothing. Aljur is also kind,” Robin said.

She hopes the two can mend their relationship because she believes they still have love for each other.

The issue of Kylie and Abrenica’s alleged breakup became public in February after the actress made what appeared to be insinuations on her social media account. This was followed by a photo of Kylie without a wedding ring.

The two got married in December 2018 and have two children, Alas Joaquin and Axl Romeo
