Kim Chiu faces MTRCB complaint over ‘vibrator’ remarks
It’s Showtime’ host Kim Chiu is under scrutiny after recent comments she made during a segment of the popular show, prompting a complaint with the Movie Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).
During a ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ segment, Kim made a remark about a contestant’s voice, saying, “Ang ganda ng vibrator ng boses mo.”
The comment immediately gained attention online, with netizens raising eyebrows at the choice of words.
Kim’s loyal fanbase was quick to jump to her defense, clarifying that the host intended to describe the quality and resonance of the contestant’s voice.
This isn’t the only issue currently under MTRCB’s radar. The board is also due to announce its decision regarding an incident involving cake icing between Vice Ganda and Ion Perez.
Moreover, the board is deliberating over Wally Bayola’s use of explicit language on live television during the E.A.T. show.
