The phenomenal tandem of Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, a.k.a. DonBelle, recently sent their adoring fans into a frenzy after a video clip grabbed from their appearance in the latest vlog of television writer Darla Sauler went viral online.

While we’re still wondering if we really heard her right, let’s revisit everything that transpired during her fun bag raid and interview with “power raider” Darla exclusively in this video!

It happened at Belle’s dressing room after their kilig song and dance number together on ASAP Natin ‘To, as she was still wearing the crochet floral pink top and glittery black hotpants that she wore when they performed BGYO’s “Tumitigil Ang Mundo,” which was one of the OSTs of their 2022 Star Cinema flick “An Inconvenient Love.“

Just like other ladies her age, the 21-year-old actress is also fond of using a small shoulder bag wherever she goes, either at work, day or night outs with her loved ones, or travels, which could hold her basic essentials. Normally, she would only bring her phone and wallet with her, and has a separate bag where she puts her extra clothes every time she needs to.

As Darla observed how shoulder bags have become a trend anew at present, especially among young women, she asked what Belle thinks could be the reason behind it. The actress-singer stated, “Feeling ko dahil madali siyang bagayan. Madali siyang pormahan.”

She continued, “Actually if you’re gonna notice, most of my posts on Instagram, whenever I get a bag, hindi ako nagpla-play around ng colors. Mas neutral. Pero gusto ko rin naman, kunwari, may magpo-pop ng color.”

As she opened her chic black cassette bag from the luxury brand Bottega Venetta, Darla quipped that she’s a “tunay na tao” because of how it was kind of messy, just like what the bags of others do. When they were about to begin, Donny arrived and became their instant audience.

The first item she pulled out was her sunscreen and stressed that it’s the most important part step in every skincare and makeup routine. In fact, she revealed that she uses it as base every time she does her makeup or has her makeup done because aside from protecting her skin from the glaring rays of sun and of artificial lights.

She then showed the luggage tags given to her by her Star Magic handler Edith Fariñas, then her favorite cologne from one of her brand endorsements that she usually uses during tapings. She also has a mini leather black wallet that matches her bag, which contains a few cash and coins, tickets, and business cards. A pack of sanitary wipes is also a must-have for her.

Belle also brings with her a wound care checklist, which serves as her guide on what to do just in case the spot of her recent tooth removal bleeds. Since it was her first time, she confessed keeping her extracted tooth as a memento.

Just when Darla thought that she finally had the chance to see what’s the lockscreen of Belle’s flip phone, she only got herself dismayed (probably like the fans) since the actress’ phone had no power charge. She had pieces of tickets and coins scattered inside her bag, as well as a matte lipstick in her stash for that day.

But the “best find” in this bag raid was her shabby hair ties, which really surprised and amused Darla and everyone in the room. They poked fun at it, with Belle explaining that she wasn’t able to take it out her bag and it probably got worn after using it to tie her thick crowning glory. She then related that she actually used to have a lucky hair tie that she never lost nor threw away, but gave it to Donny just because. She further shared that she usually brings at least two hair ties with her wherever she goes since she loves to put her hair up, especially during rehearsals.

They then talked a bit about her newest two-part sophomore album “Somber” and “Solemn,” as well as her upcoming concert “Beloved,” and then put their lato-lato skills to the test as Darla, Belle, and Donny gamely accepted the trending challenge.
