Rumors of tension between James Yap and Philip Salvador following Kris Aquino’s death have been swirling. The two men, who were once associated with the talk show queen, are now facing speculation of a property dispute or a dispute over the inheritance of their children.

Unconfirmed reports suggest they may be seeking to protect their own interests, but Kris Aquino is said to have prepared a detailed will.

Phillip says Kris deserves to be happy.
Nakausap ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Phillip Salvador noong araw mismo na pumutok ang balitang naghiwalay ang ex-live-in partner niya na si Kris Aquino at ang mister nito na si James Yap noong Miyerkules, June 25. Si Phillip ang ama ng panganay na anak ni Kris na si Joshua.

Gulat ang unang reaksiyon ni Phillip nang kunan namin siya ng reaksiyon.

“Wala akong alam. I always pray for them and huwag naman sana,” sabi niya.

Pero natuwa naman ang aktor nang malaman niya na nagkabati na sina Kris at James.

“Well, God is good. Ayaw niya ng sira ang pamilya.”

“Siyempre, kasi ang gusto ko, maging happy na siya [Kris] nang tuluy-tuloy. And God is very good, like what you said, they’re back. Ako, hindi ko alam na may nangyaring ganun. Pero tingnan mo si Lord pa rin ang gumagalaw.

“Okey na yun. Basta ang gusto ko, maging fruitful sila. That’s what I want, maging fruitful sila because she deserves to be happy.”

Sa kasalukuyan ay dumadaan daw ngayon sa marriage counseling sina Kris at James.

“Well, if that will do good for them, okey yun. Basta ako, every day I pray for them. Kami ni Emma [Ledesma, Phillip’s wife].”

Hindi raw talaga maiiwasan na dumarating ang problema sa isang mag-asawa.

“Oo, ganun ang buhay may-asawa. There will always be yung tampuhan, yung ganun. Pero ako, I believe kasi when you put God first, He will do the rest. E, kasi si Kris, paladasal,” pagtatapos ni Phillip.
