It was in August 2024 when Jam started flaunting his new girlfriend — a month after speculations that he and Karla Estrada had broken up crossed the surface. In November of the same year, Jam proposed for marriage to DJ Jellie.

However, earlier this month, countless people were left shocked when reports that Jam Ignacio allegedly physically hurt DJ Jellie Aw crossed the surface. She filed a complaint against him before the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

The incident allegedly happened inside the car as per a viral post. DJ Jellie was allegedly able to seek help after an RFID did not scan successfully. It was Valentine’s Day when she filed a complaint against her fiancé before the NBI.

After being quiet for a while since the alleged incident transpired, Jam Ignacio spoke in an exclusive interview with GMA News and publicly apologized to DJ Jellie Aw. According to the businessman, their issue started with a simple misunderstanding and he maybe ran out of patience and it was triggered by their stress for being out the entire day.

Jam admitted that his action was not something that must be tolerated. He apologized to DJ Jellie, her mother and siblings, and her friends. He also told the mother of the club DJ that she knows that he really loves her daughter.

Jam Ignacio was vocal that he wants his wedding with DJ Jellie Aw to push through. He publicly tried to convince his fiancée that they continue with their plans and promised that it will not happen again.

However, based on a report on GMA News Balitambayan, DJ Jellie Aw has cut off her wedding plans with Jam Ignacio. She also clarified that she has forgiven him but the case against him will push through.

“I already forgave Jam but I will continue to pursue the case,” the DJ said.

DJ Jellie further stressed that Jam’s reason for what he allegedly did is not acceptable. According to her, it may happen again and might be much worse than what happened.

“It’s not like he just got full. What if I gave him a second chance, when he gets full again, he’ll do it again. It’s worse,” she said.
