Nora Aunor and Brillante Mendoza put Cannes controversy behind them during 20th French Film Fest

Brillante Mendoza greeted Nora Aunor with a kiss on the cheek during the gala night of the 20th French Film Festival.

The Cannes award-winning director and the Superstar were both guests of honor during the screening of Taklub, the opening movie of the film fest that will run until June 9, 2015.

Last May, Taklub earned the Ecumenical Jury Prize-Special Mention at the 68th Cannes Film Festival in France.As soon as Direk Brillante Mendoza learned that Nora Aunor was at the venue, he went to the Superstar and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

It will be recalled that Nora Aunor was unable to attend the world premiere of Taklub, the only Filipino film included in the Un Certain Regard section of the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.
