Sandy, Christopher in US to visit son with testicular cancer
MANILA, Philippines- Sandy Andolong and Christopher de Leon son Miguel has testicular cancer.
The couple left the country on Tuesday to fly to San Francisco to see their son who is being treated in the hospital.
Sandy posted a photo of their luggage.
She also posted a message to their son saying “Can’t wait to see you, kiss you, embrace you, & whisper in your ear (even if you can’t see yet but can hear) how much you mean to me son Tatay & I are coming to take care of you & be with you. Never fear for our good & mighty God is w/ you all the way through this adversity you’re going through now. He & only He is the best & greatest physician. I know in my heart & truly believe that he is healing you right now? He will always reward you because you are a Godly & prayerful man, a good son, brother, husband & father! Tatay & nanay will be with you soon my love”
On Thursday, Sandy and Christopher arrived in San Francisco. Sandy then posted a photo of a garden, and recounted the reunion with their son.
“No parent, specially a mother. should ever see the sight of a child in the ICU heavily sedated & countless of tubes all over his body, mouth & nose. And so many machines attached to him,” she said.
“I felt like dying! Hubby kept embracing me & we both kept crying. I could not stop crying & just kept kissing Miguel’s hand & arm. My baby. It’s a good thing they moved him to a better & bigger hospital in SF city. CDMC where they specialize in my son’s case.”
Later that day, they had a meeting with the attending physicians and decided on what steps to take for Miguel. She then asked the public “for a lot more prayers for my son.
