Paul Soriano marks birthday of wife Toni Gonzaga

Toni Gonzaga turned 38 this Thursday, January 20, and her husband, Paul Soriano, made sure to mark her special day with a simple but sweet birthday greeting.

Through Instagram Stories, Paul wished his wife a happy birthday as he uploaded snaps of her with their son Seve.

Toni and Paul have been married for six years. They tied the knot at a church in Taytay, Rizal in 2015, after eight years as a couple.

Last June 2021, it was Toni who penned a heartwarming message to Paul as she marked their wedding anniversary on Instagram.

“Happy Anniversary @paulsoriano1017. Thank you for making my dreams come true,” she said in her post.

Months before their anniversary, Toni opened up about her marriage to Paul in a rare interview with celebrity doctor Vicki Belo.

“Hindi perfect ang relationship. Pero together, after overcoming every struggle, na-pe-perfect through time. Parang cooking lang yan,” she said.

The television host admitted that, just like many other wives, she also had a hard time adjusting to married life in the beginning.

“The biggest surprise for me was the submission part. Doon ako na-surprise. Pero ang ganda pala pag nag-su-submit ka sa husband mo. Kasi that was really how it was. That’s the order. Yun ang order talaga na ginawa sa male at female, for the female to submit to the guy because nagkakaroon ng harmony. That’s how you honor him as your husband,” she said.
