Dingdong Dantes: “We’re not just paying—we’re also watching!”
Many celebrities were included in the list of Top Taxpayers of Quezon City for the year 2024.
During the Revenue Region-7A (RR No. 7A) Quezon City, Regional Tax Campaign Kickoff of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) held at Fisher Mall on March 4, 2025, many of them were honored.
Leading the way was It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda. In his speech, Vice reminded everyone that they need to pay taxes because this is what the government uses to improve the lives of Filipinos.
But it is also important, he said, for taxpayers to question where the taxes we pay go.

DINGDONG DANTES
Through Instagram, Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes reminded us that we should pay our taxes properly and correctly.
In addition, we should also be vigilant about where our taxes go.
He said: “April 15—filing of taxes is coming soon! As citizens, let’s make sure that our taxes are paid properly and correctly, because this is where the funds for public services come from.
“But wait, we are not just paying—we are also vigilant!
“As taxpayers, it is also our duty to be vigilant and make sure that our taxes are used correctly by the people we put in office and are accountable for it.”
