Paulo Avelino Explains Why He Doesn’t Believe In Love Language

Kapamilya actor Paulo Avelino explained why he does not believe the five love languages that many people consider in being in a relationship.

Paulo is one of the most sought-after leading men in the Philippine entertainment industry nowadays. Aside from his charming face, he receives admiration for his acting caliber. He has proven his versatility in doing different characters throughout his showbiz career.

It is known to many showbiz fans that Paulo is not that open about his love life. The last publicly announced relationship he had was with Fil-Aussie model Jodie Tarasek, but they broke up years ago.

Then, the actor was linked to his former onscreen partner Kapamilya actress Janine Gutierrez. They worked together in the movie Ngayon Kaya and the TV series Marry Me, Marry You.

In a recent episode of Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu’s vlog, she featured an interview with Paulo Avelino. They are now known as the KimPau tandem. Fans are rooting for their onscreen partnership with the hope that it is the same behind the camera.

One of the questions that Kim asked her loveteam partner was about the love language he has. However, Paulo said that he does not believe in this.

This is a concept created by Dr. Gary Chapman, a marriage counsellor, which stated that people receive and give 5 love languages: words of affirmation, acts of service, receiving gifts, quality time, and physical touch.

“Hindi ako naniniwala as love language eh. I always think na sa isang relasyon, it’s a mixture of everything,” the actor stressed, adding that there should be a right balance of everything.

When Kim tried to insist that Paulo could tell what he always did to someone he loves, the actor said that it was just a written concept and people adapted this. He also said that when it comes to relationships, this should not be the basis and the standard.
