QC Rep. Ralph Tulfo apologizes for passing through EDSA bus lane
Quezon City 2nd District Representative Ralph Tulfo has publicly apologized for passing through the EDSA busway, which was censured by authorities and criticized by netizens.

It can be recalled that the Department of Transportationβs Special Action and Intelligence Committee for Transportation (SAICT) said that they spotted a convoy passing through the EDSA busway on January 23, allegedly related to a lawmaker.
The said lawmaker was identified as Rep. Ralph Tulfo, son of journalist Sen. Raffy Tulfo.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, January 28, Rep. Tulfo apologized to the public. “I sincerely apologize to the public, especially to those who were affected and inconvenienced by the recent incident involving my vehicle passing through the EDSA bus lane,” the representativeβs post read.
“The corresponding fines have been paid and will undergo the necessary seminar to better understand and remind the existing traffic law.”

“I promise to take all steps to prevent this type of mistake in the future.”
Sen. Tulfo said in an ambush interview that he “scolded” his son about it and told him to apologize to everyone.
“I scolded him and he apologized to me. I said, ‘Apologize to everyone.’ And thatβs it,” he said.
