Before curious netizens could speculate on the real relationship between her and Vice Governor of Batangas Mark Leviste, who visited her in America, the Queen of All Media, Kris Aquino, spoke out about the status of their relationship.

After Krissy’s long Instagram post about her condition on her birthday, which coincided with Valentine’s Day, the detail that she was grateful to a “very determined man” who traveled 13 hours to America just to visit and see her caught the attention of netizens.

In the third paragraph of her Instagram post on February 14, Kris seemed to be thanking a “very determined man” who actually traveled almost 13 hours to visit her.

“I have a wonderful support system from my 2 sons, Alvin, Rochelle, Ate Rome, old friends & new friends here in the 🇺🇸… but you need to be a very determined man of your word to fly 13 hours each way to spend a few days with me on my birthday. For his effort I am GRATEFUL,” the post said. Netizens were even more intrigued by the art card attached to the post which read “Distance is just a test to see how far love can travel” with matching flying airplanes.

Less than 24 hours later, Kris’ followers seemed to have an answer.

Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste’s Instagram posts where he and Kris are seen together, and both of them said “Distance is just a test to see how far love can travel,” were also left wondering.

In another Instagram post, Mark wished Kris on his birthday and Valentine’s Day.Made it just in time for your birthday and Valentine’s Day. 💞 It may have taken more than 7k miles to be with you, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Although we have been apart, now that we’re together fills my heart. 💖 It is for this reason my love and my dear you will always and forever feel near.”

“Happy Birthday to you and Happy Valentine’s Day to us @krisaquino!” it said.

Many celebrities and netizens are excited for the two of them.

In the comment section of Mark’s Instagram post, Kris commented and clarified about them.

She now considers Mark as her “best male friend.”

“May we clarify- together physically in the same place… I appreciate all your effort (through the years) BUT please clarify that we agreed the best foundation for any & all relationships is FRIENDSHIP.
