Kris Aquino “gaining strength” amid ongoing health battle

Kris Aquino’s health is gradually improving, according to her close friend and former entertainment editor Dindo Balares.

In Dindo’s latest Instagram post on Thursday night, February 6, 2025, he shared two new photos of Kris.

First, a close-up shot of Kris where a red rash can be seen on her cheek.

According to Dindo, Kris sent him the first photo on January 25.

Kris still has allergens in her body.

Dindo’s opening caption on Kris’ photo, “GAINING STRENGTH.”

He further shared: “Kris Aquino has many followers waiting for her latest photos.

“Here’s the picture and she sent me the first photo last January 25.

“‘Allergens still in my body,’ she said. ‘Praying hard that everything is flushed out, Krisy,’ I said.

“I noticed a change, which I immediately said. ‘You’re glowing!!’

“‘I just don’t have wrinkles, Kuya Dindo,’ he replied.

Kris reportedly sent the second photo on February 2, where the TV host’s face is clearer.

It is also noticeable that the rash on her face is gone.

According to Dindo, Kris is still facing “struggles” with her health, and is crying about her “severe body pains.”

The former entertainment editor said: “Last Sunday, while I was at Pacita Mansion in Vigan with media friends, she sent the second photo.

“In between the said dates, she is always struggling with her health, and is crying about her severe body pains.

“What I admire most about Kris is her unwavering faith.”

BIMBY COMES TO HIS MOTHER’S RESCUE
Dindo also shared the story of Kris hitting her elbow and knee on a marble wall because she suddenly felt weak.

It’s a good thing that Kris shouted Bimby’s name, the son even surpassed other action stars because he prevented his mother’s head from hitting the wall in less than five seconds.

“Last Tuesday, this was his message: ‘my elbow and knee hit. My left knee suddenly weakened so I hit the marble wall.

“Praise God when I shouted Bimb, he jumped from the bed and surpassed the action stars because he was there less than 5 seconds from when I shouted he was there-that prevented my head slamming into the marble wall.

“Bimb is my hero.'”

Kris added, “My (latest) blood test results are ugly.@ More prayers.”

Kris’s fight for his recovery is still ongoing.

Dindo said, “It’s been a long time, but the fight continues! He’s been sleeping long and deliciously for a few weeks now.

“His strength is gradually recovering.

“But you should still take it slow, especially when walking without support.

“Always, eternal gratitude to those who send greetings and pray for Krisy’s complete recovery.
