The 2003 interview with the Queen of All Media, Kris Aquino, with the late Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu, has been circulated on social media.

Kris’s exclusive interview with Barbie took place in 2003 where she accompanied the “Meteor Garden star who is Barbie’s brother Dee Hsu.

Barbie said, “Maybe I’ll be a grandma, and have many children. Maybe two or three. But they will have children too.”

Barbie died at the age of 48 due to pneumonia after contracting influenza.

The Taiwanese actress had health issues when she was still alive and was hospitalized due to epilepsy.

In an interview before she died, Barbie mentioned that she had a history of “mitral valve prolapse” and epilepsy. According to a health website, “mitral valve prolapse is a valvular heart disease characterized by the displacement of an abnormally thickened mitral valve leaflet into the left atrium during systole.

“It is the primary form of myxomatous degeneration of the valve. There are various types of MVP, broadly classified as classic and nonclassic.”

In fact, she almost died when she had a seizure when she gave birth in 2016.

Barbie Hsu left behind her South Korean singer and DJ husband Koo Jun-Yup, her 10-year-old daughter, and the 8-year-old son of her ex-husband Wang Xiaofei.
