Kris Aquino speaks out on getting married to a gay doctor
THE Queen of All Media, Kris Aquino, is reportedly getting married to her new boyfriend, Dr. Michael Padlan, who works at the Makati Medical Center.
That’s what a Facebook page that uses the account of a legit publication to post fake news is spreading.
According to the fake news released by the poser, Kris and Dr. Michael’s intimate wedding is set to be held at an events place in Makati City.
The FB post also included photos of the venue filled with plants and flowers. However, the award-winning TV host-actress strongly denied this through her friend Kuya Dindo Balares, a former entertainment editor of a tabloid.

“THE BEST ANSWER TO THAT FAKE NEWS,” was the title of her social media post. “I was back in Bicol to continue planting, when I received a series of messages and links to a post that Kris was getting married to her physician boyfriend. “The chat we had with Krisy the other day is below,” the award-winning TV host’s confidant joked.
“Hello Krisy! As much as possible, I don’t want to bother you. But more and more media friends are asking questions. Do you want me to answer?” the post continued.
This is what Kris said in response, “Kuya Dindo, the best answer to that fake news is how can your eldest who has adult onset asthma and has publicly admitted to having Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria and is currently undergoing treatment that makes her extra sensitive to direct sun exposure and as you yourself know I am very allergic to tree leaves (trigger of allergic rhinitis and asthma for me) especially grass as in damuhan – does it make sense that I would choose an outdoor venue? One full of plants?
“I am not the only one with asthma, Bimb also has asthma.
“Kuya Dindo, if I really knew when he scooped this up, he should have known what you already know — trees and especially grass are not friends of my respiratory system, even astroturf is not allowed because there is a lot of dust that can be collected.
“They should only believe if you or Pareng Ogie (Diaz) are the ones giving away a blind item,” Kris said.
