Kim Chiu không vội vàng kết hôn

While celebs are quite susceptible to short-lived romances given the nature of their jobs, some couples seem to beat all the odds and stay strong over the years, proving that love in the limelight can last. Take, for instance, Kim Chiu and Xian Lim, who first met on the set of My Binondo Girl in 2011 and has been ~*inseparable*~ since then.

Given their longstanding relationship, fans couldn’t resist but wonder when they’re getting married. In a recent interview with Pep.ph, the Fil-Chinese actress revealed that she’s in *no rush* to level up their relationship. “Darating tayo diyan. Sabi ko nga, time management is the key. So, parang let’s do it in one day at a time, right time, right place.”

This mindset of hers extends even to other aspects of her life, saying that she’s okay with taking things as they come. “Parang ako naman, I don’t really think advance nang super kasi parang baka ma-fail ko lang yung expectation ko on what I will be in the next three years.

Ako, I take it day by day, slowly lang. Kasi sa dami ng nangyayari ngayon, hindi natin alam.”

In a separate interview, Xian echoed Kim’s sentiments about tying the knot. “The direct answer is I don’t see myself getting married soon,” he said. “Ang daming nagtatanong, ‘Xian, naniniwala ka ba sa idea of marriage?’ Yes, of course I do. But marriage, I think ’di siya minamadali. We love each other so much and that’s what’s important.”

Just yesterday, Xian celebrated his 34th trip around the sun, receiving a sweet message from Kim. In an IG post, the Fit Check star wrote, “Happy birthday to the person who holds my heart. Thank you for being you and always putting a smile on my face. Cheers to many more laughs to share, places to explore, things to solve, and many more, most especially birthdays to celebrate. I am always here for you, supporting you in everything you do!”
