The story of First Lady Liza Marcos is making headlines as rumors spread that she has been detained. However, this information was immediately denied, raising questions: Is she really hiding something? And more importantly, is former President Rodrigo Duterte (FPRRD) really facing an upcoming trial?
Rumors of Liza Marcos’s arrest spread quickly on social media platforms, creating a wave of fierce debate. Some sources even claimed that she was under close surveillance, possibly even involved in a larger investigation.
However, the government immediately denied these reports, asserting that the First Lady is still free and that there is no arrest warrant for her. But is this claim convincing enough?
Netizens began to scrutinize the statements from Liza Marcos and the government. Some people are asking: If there really was no arrest, why are there so many sources claiming otherwise? Is someone hiding a shocking truth?
Many believe that this is not simply a false rumor but could be a sign of an erupting political crisis.
Meanwhile, another news is making waves: Former President Rodrigo Duterte may soon face a trial. Information about the charges against him related to the war on drugs and sensitive political issues is becoming a hot topic.
Many people are asking whether this is a political move to put pressure on Duterte and his family. If this is true, this will be a major turning point in Philippine politics.
People and observers are closely following every development. Some believe this is a ploy to distract the public, while others believe it is a sign of a political purge.
What is the real truth behind these rumors? Is Liza Marcos hiding something? And will former President Duterte really face justice? The answer may soon be revealed!
Palace denies First Lady Liza Marcos’ arrest in Los Angeles
The Palace has clarified that there is no truth to the allegation that First Lady Liza Marcos was arrested in Los Angeles, California, US, during her stay there from March 5 to 8, 2025 for the Meeting of the Minds at the Manila International Film Festival.
“There is no truth that FL was held by any law enforcers while in LA or and in any other place,” Presidential Communication Office (PCO) Undersecretary Claire Castro told reporters on Thursday, March 13.
It is worth noting that social media has been flooded with Facebook pages claiming that the First Lady was arrested in Los Angeles so that former President Rodrigo Duterte was forced to be arrested by the International Criminal Court (ICC) to cover it up.
Castro added, “FL arrived in Manila at around 5 AM (on Monday) at 5:58 AM, she was already on her way to her place from the airport.”
