Sam Verzosa Releases ‘Resibo’ Contradicting Isko Moreno’s Accusation

Sam Verzosa has this answer to Isko Moreno’s statement

Businessman-politician Sam Verzosa showed proof contradicting the accusation from actor-politician Isko Moreno.

Sam and Isko are currently running for Manila Mayor in the 2025 elections. Isko has already served as the Manila Mayor from 2019 to 2022. He opted not to run for his second term but instead he ran for president in the 2022 elections.

This year, Isko decided to return to the local political arena after failing to be elected to the highest position in the Philippine government.

In a recent Instagram post, Sam Verzosa featured a statement that Isko Moreno had during a campaign sortie. The actor-politician mentioned a “pabida,” the “Superman,” who has been giving out rice and canned goods to the people.Then, Isko said, “Our question to the people of Manila is simple, where were you during the pandemic? Back then, we needed rice. Back then, we needed canned goods, they were nowhere to be found. How delicious their lives were. We met in the finals, they were nowhere to be found.”

Sam shared a video showing that he and his company Frontrow donated to the city of Manila during the pandemic, and Isko was even the one who accepted that donation since he was the Mayor at that time. The businessman-politician stressed that he will fight against, “liars, abusers and thieves.”

In another video that he shared, Sam highlighted the supposed only thing that came true from Isko’s statement which was, “I hope you increase in number.” Sam showed many people who became his supporters.

Sam Verzosa also featured a video from Showbiz Update, the YouTube talk show of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz, defending him from the accusation made by Isko Moreno. Ogie stressed that Sam has been helping the people of Manila for a long time now. As of this writing, Isko has not responded yet to the “receipt” shown by Sam.
