The actress-fashion personality had an early birthday celebration at a rooftop with a monochromatic display of deep red structures, florals and flowing drapes, as seen on set designer Gideon Hermosa’s Instagram page last Sunday, Feb. 9.

Evangelista teared up in surprise as she was welcomed by her loved ones and close friends to the intimate event.

“A heartfelt surprise birthday party, beautifully orchestrated and hosted by Michael Leyva for the gorgeous and ever-loving, Heart. [We] had the honor to design this space that celebrates our Valentine’s girl!” Hermosa said in the caption, adding that the decorations were inspired by Evangelista’s birth month and vibrant life.
