Kim Chiu on ex-boyfriends: “They said goodbye properly.”
Kim Chiu: “They said, ‘Kim, we’re leaving! Hahaha!”
Kim Chiu, 34, has never experienced ghosting.

This is what the actress said when asked at the press conference for the movie My Love Will Make You Disappear on February 19, 2025.

“I wasn’t ghosted. They said goodbye properly!” Kim replied with a laugh.

Kim’s co-star Wilma Doesnt teases Kim by saying, “That’s okay, girl.”

It’s okay to be ghosted because, based on Wilma’s personal experience, if her two ex-boyfriends hadn’t ghosted her, she wouldn’t have recognized her “last love.”

But Kim clarified that she has closure with her past relationships.

Kim jokingly said, “They said, ‘Kim, we’re leaving! Hahaha!”

Wilma said, “It’s good that you said goodbye. For me, it’s the end.”

“They said goodbye,” Kim repeated.

Kim did not name names, but it is not unknown to the public that her relationships are with actors Xian Lim and Gerald Anderson.

Kim and Xian were lovers from 2012-2023; while Kim and Gerald were from 2006 to 2010.

Kim also believes that “rejection is redirection.”

Teasing her, “Redirection to?”

Kim gestured as if to point out who she would be redirected to, but she did not continue to point to leading man Paulo Avelino but the girl pointed in another direction.

KIM CHIU ON NOT GIVING UP ON LOVE
The next question to Kim was why one should not give up on love.

Kim first responded to the vlogger’s comment that she was “very experienced” in love.

“That ‘very experienced’ is terrible, how many couples have I had, they’re just two. Wooo! There’s no comparison!” Kim clarified.

She explained: “Because love is something we feel. It can’t be bought.” Even if you work too hard, even if you’re a very kind person, you don’t give it away willingly. You experience it.

“It’s also part of our personality.

“We give a lot to our emotions that make us human.

At one point during the press conference, Kim shared her perspective on her boundaries when it comes to love.

“They say, if you don’t love yourself, you’ll just let yourself be hurt over and over again.”
