HOT: Belle Mariano is willing to give up everything to achieve her goal…/hi

Belle Mariano: Confident and Ready!

Kayo ang unang makakarinig nito,” admitted Belle Mariano during her ‘Beloved’ concert last July 22, 2023, at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. “For the first time ever, I will be performing this new song that is all about being strong and confident.”

It was an evening of firsts. The evening also marked her first-ever solo concert in front of a live audience. Yet, no one would think Belle was anything less than a seasoned and professional performer.

Belle attributed her current strength and confidence to the people who have supported her dreams.

“You know, my 11 years in the industry, I’ve always been surrounded by HABAmazing people,” she shared. “People who believe in me, who make sure I get the best of the best, so that I can become my best and confident self in roles, shoots, outfits, and even my hair na #GandangHABAmazing at fragrant pa rin.”

Aside from her support system from family and friends, she also credits Sunsilk for giving her HABAmazing hair that makes her feel confident to face each day. Sunsilk Strong & Long with Activ-Infusion is made with a powerful blend of biotin, castor oil, and aloe vera that helps long hair grow 3x stronger with regular product use.

“Flip your hair and flaunt your hair,” Belle urged her hairkadas.

Wanting to do her part in boosting her hairkadas confidence, Belle gave her first-ever performance of Sunsilk’s newest single, ‘HABAmazing Tayo’, an inspiration for hairkadas everywhere who need a quick pick me upper.

From the moment Belle stepped onstage, she owned it. There was no trace of nerves, no doubt, no hesitation. Belle radiated joy, confidence, and passion for her craft from beginning to end.

Her concert featured a lot of her songs from part one of her sophomore album, ‘Somber’, which she described as “an introspective delve into the complex stages of loss.”

“We must be in the darkness to appreciate the daylight,” said Belle.

Throughout the show, Belle bared her soul by sharing her innermost thoughts and emotions, inevitably tugging on the audience’s heartstrings as her honest narrative subtly resonated within each one, too.

“I really want to show you what’s really in my heart,” she said.

Baring one’s self is a feat, perhaps even a risk, for someone so young in such a competitive industry. It does prove just how secure Belle is about who she is. Having been in the industry for over a decade now, she has already proven her prowess in acting. While she is already known as a good singer, she now hopes to write her own songs in what she calls her ‘singer-songwriter era’. While a newbie, Belle pursues her passion with confidence, eager to face the new challenges and discoveries coming her way.

For ‘Somber’, she already co-wrote two songs: ‘Roadtrip’ and ‘Somber and Solemn’.

“I’m good with conceptualizing but trying to improve on executing at the whole songwriting. I’m good at telling stories,” she shared.

Belle finds that it is more natural for her to begin with poetry.

“Nadiscover ko sa sarili ko, nagsusulat muna ako ng poem then pasukan ng melody,” she explained. “As a form of art, you can play around with it. Goal ko lang dito is to be able to inspire and articulate the message of my songs to the audience.”

“Hopefully, for my ‘Solemn’ album I’ll write my own songs talaga,” Belle added.

She admits that she is still learning to write her own songs, which is why she is thankful for her friends and colleagues who have been guiding her along the way.

“Yes, nagpapaturo ako magsulat,” she admitted. “Somehow I’ve been getting their insights on songwriting.”

Belle is a prime example of how to live life to the fullest by following one’s passion, and how great it is to be surrounded by those who will help you and cheer for you along the way.

“Huwag matakot dahil strong tayo. Sa haba ng hair mo, there’s nothing you can’t do,” sang Belle, while flipping her long hair. “Kaya natin ito, bilib ang mundo sa’yo. HABAmazing ka! HABAmazing ako! Gandang HABAmazing tayo!”
