Kim Chiu says 2023 was ‘an intense year of personal growth’

Kim Chiu looked back on 2023, which for her was “an intense year of personal growth.”

In an Instagram Reel, the actress and TV host shared a recap of “365 days of emotions, up, side, down.” The features photos and videos featured the “It’s Showtime” contract signing and its debut on GMA Network’s GTV.

“It was an intense year of personal growth,” Kim said in her caption.

“I couldn’t gather all my emotions, which felt overwhelming—so many sentimental moments, breakdowns, and breakthroughs,” she added.

Despite it all, the actress is looking back at the year with gratitude, and said that she is thankful for all of her projects and the people around her.

“I am grateful for all the trust and opportunities given to me. I am thankful for the highs and also grateful for the lows,” she said.

“To everyone who supported me along the way, please know that I am deeply thankful, and I appreciate each one of you,” she added. “I am forever grateful. #2023, you are differently amazing. #2024, please be more amazing!”

Kim is currently in Los Angeles and was one of the guests at Angelica Panganiban’s wedding.

In December, Kim confirmed her breakup with long-term boyfriend Xian Lim. She thanked Xian for “the almost 12 years of beautiful memories together one can never imagine.”

Xian meanwhile thanked Kim for “all the unconditional love throughout the years.”
