Veteran actress Dina Bonnevie celebrated her 61st birthday on Friday with an intimate birthday bash.

Bonnevie interacted with her guests, the chefs, and the waitstaff at the venue, wearing a matching pastel, floral long-sleeved top, and pants.

When it was her time to blow out the candles, the seasoned actress told the waiter who was holding her fruit-topped cake that she will never smear a cake frosting on him but will thank him instead.

“Hindi kita papahiran ng cake. Magpapasalamat ako sa’yo,” Bonnevie said.

“Cakes are to be eaten, and not to be pasted on other people’s faces,” she added.

Bonnevie celebrated her birthday with children Oyo Boy and Danica Sotto, together with her daughter-in-law, Kristine Hermosa, and son-in-law Marc Pingris.

Previously, the issue about Alex Gonzaga smearing cake toward a waiter caused too much noise on social media, calling out her “spoiled brat” behavior.

Meanwhile, in an old video of Bonnevie, she spoke up about her encounter with a young actor with who she once worked on a television show more than a decade ago, which went viral again.
