Reel- and real-life couple Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla are preparing themselves for married life. They “promised” each other to get married before turning 30.

Love team KathNiel’s plan is to get married before turning 30, Kathryn told the press on October 14, 2020, at the digital media conference of The House Arrest of Us, their latest project.
The young Kapamilya A-lister said, “Before 30, iyan naman talaga ang deal namin.
“May ilang panahon pa kami before we turn 30. Yeah. Actually, iyon naman talaga iyong promise.”
Kathryn revealed that she and Daniel, in fact, have been preparing for their future together.
She said, “Pinag-uusapan naman namin ni DJ na I think nasa tamang age na kami para i-ready mga sarili namin kapag dumating tayo sa punto na iyon.
“And now, iyon iyong dahilan kung bakit kami nagtatrabaho din. Lahat ng kailangan i-ready kasi, malaking step iyon. And pagdating noon, at least ready na kami at relax na lang.”
When exactly do they plan to settle down?
Kathryn said, “Wala naman specific date na sinabi namin na, ‘Okay, kapag ganitong year dapat kasal na.’ Ayaw naman namin—ayoko siya i-pressure.
“Dadating iyon, e. Iyan iyong mga bagay na mararamdaman mo lang kapag ready na kayo.”

The ABS-CBN star told the press it will be at the right time.
He said “Alam mo, gagawin ko iyon pagka alam kong handa na rin si Kathryn.
“Hindi ko naman siya ilalagay sa posisyon na alam kong—alam mo iyon? Alinlangan?
“Gagawin ko iyon sa panahon na alam kong handa na siya at handa na rin ako.
“Ganoon lang iyon. Pagpaplanuhan natin iyon.
“Dahil, siyempre, unang-una, isang beses ko lang puwede gawin iyon, di ba?
“Pagpaplanuhan iyon at ise-set natin sa tamang panahon. Hindi puwede nagbibigla tayo, siyempre.
“Kailangan ko rin tantiyahin si Kathryn kung handa na ba iyong tao na ito na pumasok sa ibang level ng relationship, di ba?”
In another digital conference earlier, Daniel declared the he’s ready to marry Kathryn.
He announced with a laugh, “Handa na siya maging asawa ko!”
But he quickly backtracked, “Hindi, loko lang.”
However, the actor-singer already has a timetable for settling down, “Siguro after three or four years… Basta gusto ko before 30.”
He explained, “Ayoko masyado patagalin na umabot na sa range na 30, kasi pag tumapak na ng 30, ang bilis na naman, e.
“Sana before 30, maging suwabe ang lahat at matuloy ang kasal. Hahaha!”
Kathryn and Daniel both want their wedding to be “simple” and “very intimate,” and preferably by the beach.
