Claudine Barretto still friends with Kris Aquino who unfollowed her on IG; Gretchen reacts

Kris Aquino unfollows Claudine Barretto on Instagram

During the Instagram Live of sisters Gretchen and Claudine Barretto—which began around midnight on March 20 and ended at dawn on March 21—Claudine was asked if her friendship with Kris Aquino was okay.

Claudine’s short answer was, “Yes.”

This is despite Kris unfollowing Claudine on Instagram.

In the “Following” search button on Kris’s Instagram account, if you type in “claubarretto” Claudine’s account, her name will no longer appear among those followed by the web star/endorser.

GRETCHEN BARRETTO REACTS
While Claudine was talking about Kris on their Instagram Live, Gretchen did not respond. This is despite the fact that Gretchen and Kris are currently engaged in a “social media war.”

Kris is the cousin of Gretchen’s long-time partner Tonyboy Cojuangco.

According to Gretchen, the sisters do not talk about or interfere with each other’s friends.

“You know, we, Claudine and I have a conversation.

“I understand her life, her friends.

“Her friends are her friends.

“My friends can be her friends, but we don’t, I don’t… she doesn’t have to be angry at an enemy or somebody who has done me wrong in the past.

“I stop there.” Gretchen and Kris’ social media war stemmed from the former’s siding with Nicko Falcis.

Nicko is Kris’s former business associate whom she accused of using Kris Cojuangco Aquino Productions (KCAP) company credit card without her permission.

Kris filed a complaint against Nicko for qualified theft and violation of Republic Act No. 8484 with seven prosecutor’s offices in Metro Manila.

Three city prosecutor’s offices have already dismissed Kris’ complaint—Makati, Pasig, and Taguig.

However, the Taguig City Prosecutor’s Office filed a case against Nicko for estafa and credit card fraud.
