Jake Zyrus’ (formerly Charice Pempengco) mother, Raquel Pempengco, is facing one setback after her mother and 52-year-old sister died together this week.

Jake’s grandmother, ‘Tes Pineda Relucio, passed away last Sunday, April 3, after not waking up from her sleep.

After this, his brother, Robert Pineda Relucio, died this Wednesday morning, April 6, due to a motorcycle accident.

According to a report by the Philippine Entertainment Portal or PEP on April 6, Raquel approached them to ask for help because Jake had not yet shown any signs. She said she desperately needed help with expenses because two people in their family had died. Her brother allegedly died while guarding their mother’s grave.

“He should have helped me but I can’t. My family is all I’m expecting,” Raquel’s message and plea to her son. He is currently in America and they haven’t spoken for a long time.

Jake is currently living in America but, according to Raquel, he hasn’t been in touch with her for a long time.
