Pwede ka nang mag-comment sa mga artikulo ng KAMI! Subukan mo, madali lang! During an episode of ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,’ the veteran TV host Boy Abunda, gave his candid take on the ongoing issue involving Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings.

While acknowledging Maris’s bravery in addressing the situation, Boy pointed out a part of her statement that left him with questions.

He expressed his understanding of the emotional toll the issue might have taken on Maris. Aside from that, he explained that, while he initially believed Maris’s statement, a detail in her story seemed inconsistent. He referred to a supposed conversation between Maris and Anthony where they allegedly discussed deleting their messages and screenshots

Boy suggested that this conversation made it hard to believe Maris’s claim that she had no knowledge of what was happening between Anthony and his ex-girlfriend.

Doon sa iyong statement, okay na sana ako. I really thought it was a heartfelt statement and I felt you. Naramdaman kita. This is probably your one of your lowest points. Somehow you’re a friend and I wish you all the best. May isa lang sabit sa ‘kin, may isang butas lang dun sa statement. Nung sinabi mong wala kang kaalam-alam,” he said. “Meron kayong exchange ng text messages ni Anthony na ‘delete tayo.’ ‘Can you delete screenshots and messages?’ Sagot ni Anthony, ‘Alam mo hindi pa naman ako nagde-delete.’ This is paraphrasing it. ‘Pero gets mo kung bakit kailangan natin mag-delete.’ And then there was a line in that conversation that said, ‘Someday, hindi tayo kinakailangang mag-delete. Hindi tayo kinakailangang magtago.’ So to say that you didn’t have any knowledge that they were still together medyo kwinekwestyon ko, as an audience, as a commentator. ‘Yun lamang po but ako’y humahanga dun sa bravery ni Maris,” he added.

Maris Racal is a Filipina actress, singer-songwriter, host, vlogger, and endorser. She became prominent in 2014 after competing in “Pinoy Big Brother: All In,” where she placed second. She was previously in a relationship with Rico Blanco, a singer-songwriter and OPM legend. In a previous report by KAMI, Maris Racal was dropped as a brand ambassador.
