Boy Abunda explains there’s no problem between Kris Aquino and Ai-Ai delas Alas
Boy knows all will be well between Kris and Ai-Ai soon.Philippine TV’s “King of Talk” Boy Abunda believes and hopes that his fellow talent and co-hosts Kris Aquino (on Boy & Kris) and Ai-Ai delas Alas (occasionally, at The Buzz) will also make peace. Although, he admitted that he is not too affected when people close to him have misunderstandings.

“I’m used to it, I’m used to being in the middle of problems like that. Just like Gretchen [Barretto] and Dawn [Zulueta], Kris and then Jobert [Sucaldito] and Cristenelli [Cristy Fermin].

“I come from the point of view of truth, and then I don’t have the illusion that I have a solution to all problems. I say it when I’m having a hard time.”

Is he having a hard time with Kris and Ai-Ai now?

“No. Because I know it can be fixed. Do you know why? The reason for that is that Kris doesn’t have much direct participation, huh!

“Ai-Ai’s sulking… ‘Why me?’ Remember, Ai-Ai got mad at James because of Kris. Ai-Ai sided with Kris. Got it? So, Kris and Ai-Ai don’t have anything to fight about. They’re just good friends, I guess.”

Suppose he’s not anyone’s manager or friend, does he think who should make the first move?

“There’s not always a right, there’s not always an answer to the question of who should make the first move. Things will happen and will happen. Did you get it?

“This isn’t the type of opportunity where…’This guy should be the one to smile at me first, and this guy should be like that…’No. There are times when I’ll take a little chance, but you have to be sensitive to what’s happening every day.

“I know Aileen [Ai-Ai], I know Kris. What I’m saying is, there are things that are not forced, there are things that you don’t say, ‘Ai-Ai, come here, let’s talk.’ No.

“I never do that to Aileen, neither will I do that to Kris, no. Don’t force it, you’ll feel it, eh. And wounds can be opportunities for wisdom.

“Aileen is very emotional, what’s that. I…I know if it can be fixed and I know if it can’t be fixed.”

How hurt was AiAi?

“Aileen and I haven’t sat down yet. I don’t know what’s getting to her but the truth is, it’s like this, right?

“Let’s be clear. Kris, [Director] Wenn invited to open Ai-Ai’s movie. Kris said, ‘I’ll do it.’ James said, ‘Why would you do that? It stars Ai-Ai,’ which he was angry about.

“The [problem] is James and Kris. Then Kris said, ‘Just talk to me, if it’s going to damage our marriage, I’ll step aside and not do it.’

“So, what’s the problem? Ai-Ai was hurt because James said that until now they were enemies and she was hurt, and Ai-Ai won’t take it back.

“What she said to James, she’ll stand by it because Ai-Ai said it on behalf of Kris, because Kris is her friend. There’s no fight between Ai-Ai and Kris there, huh.” So if Kris prioritizes her marriage, we understand that. But there’s no fight, huh. Ai-Ai’s pain is why is she still bringing up something that’s been going on for a long time, and I already said that Ai-Ai won’t take it back.

“So, I don’t see the point. I’m actually thinking about it. There’s no quarrel. As for Ai-Ai’s emotion that she was hurt, I understand it too, I understand. The only thing that’s difficult about this is that you have to cross over, because the versions are different,” Boy finished.
