Mark Leviste wishes Kris Aquino well; says he knows her boyfriend

Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste assured that his separation from ex-girlfriend Kris Aquino went smoothly.

The two had an on-and-off relationship.

In July 2024, the former TV host confirmed that he and the vice governor had separated.

Mark was interviewed by PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at the Barako Fest 2025, held at Bypass Road Lipa City Batangas on February 13, 2025.

“We were civil and it was fine,” Mark said about Kris.

“We are friends and will be friends, and I would like to believe we are still friends.

“We got along well and I believe we will still be friends.”

Upon Kris’ return to the country, Mark is happy that Kris will be with her family and friends.

“I’m happy that she is closer to her family and close friends.

“But even though she is abroad, it hasn’t been an obstacle for her siblings and friends who are close to her to visit her.

“Now it’s closer and more practical.”

Does he have any grudges against Kris?

“Oh, nothing,” Mark denied.

He also said, “It’s fine? Yes, we’re civil.”

On Kris’ birthday yesterday, February 14, Mark’s wish was for Kris’s speedy recovery.

Kris has been battling autoimmune diseases for almost three years.

“I wish and pray for her speedy recovery and hope for good health, happiness, and harmony for Kris, her sons, and family.

“Of course, I always include her speedy recovery in my prayers.”

PEP also gave Mark a reaction to Kris having a new boyfriend.

He said he and Dr. Mike Padlan know each other personally.

“Yeah, I know Dr. Mike, sometime in 2023, when Kris and I were still together.

“I was referred to Dr. Mike for an executive check up at Makati Medical Center.

“I met him through Kris and I met him when we were in America.”

Mark added, “We’re all friends.”

Mark is now also happy with his relationship with Sparkle artist and content creator Aira Lopez.

“From day one, we connected well. I felt the spark and I’m happy where I am right now,” Mark said.

“We’re having fun. We’re having a happy and harmonious relationship these last six months going on seven.”

When we asked her what she planned for their Valentine’s date, she surprised her boyfriend with a dinner in Hong Kong.

“A dinner, I will be taking her out for dinner in Hong Kong, overnight only, really for Valentine’s only.

“After the town weddings, and Valentine’s that were completely done here in Batangas, we’re flying to Hong Kong in time for dinner.

“In love na in love.”

At this writing, Aira has posted on her TikTok account her Valentine’s date with Mark in Hong Kong.

Mark is running for representative in the third district of Batangas in the 2025 elections.
