Maine Mendoza denies being the woman in the ‘scandal video’ circulating on social media


Actress-TV host Maine Mendoza has strongly denied that she is the woman in the malicious video circulating on social media.

On her Twitter account, Maine insisted that it could just be her lookalike.

According to the actress’s management, the video was digitally manipulated using Deepfake technology to make it look like Maine.

They will also not hesitate to sue anyone who posts, shares or spreads the video.

THE camp of Kapuso celebrity Maine Mendoza headed to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Monday morning to file a complaint regarding a “$3x video” that has been circulating on social media.
Together with her mother and lawyer, the actress filed a complaint with the NBI Cyber ​​Crime Division headed by Atty. Victor Lorenzo.
Mendoza said that she looks like the woman in the video but strongly denied that it was her.
Triple A Management, which is managing the actress’s career, said that the said $3x video is fake and that it was clearly manipulated or edited.
They want to hold accountable those responsible for the $3x video that affected Mendoza’s image.
Lorenzo, on the other hand, said that they will conduct a thorough investigation into the said video.

Maine Mendoza has taken to social media to clarify that she is not the woman involved in a certain video scandal circulating online.

The actress raised the alarm about being linked to the said $3x video after a netizen shared a screenshot on Twitter last December 22, 2020.

“Please report please!!! Protect Maine Mendoza at all costs #MaineMendoza #ALDUBatADNHeartsAtPeace,” the netizen wrote.

Maine replied: “Wtf???? I look so much like it scared me but it’s not me!”

Maine’s manager, Rams David, has issued an official statement on the matter, saying the supposed $3x video is fake and has been digitally manipulated using deepfake technology.

Maine’s management, All Access To Artist, Inc., also urged the public “not to post, share, or otherwise circulate the video” as they “will not hesitate to take appropriate legal action against any person circulating the same.”

All Access To Artist also said they intend to hold those individuals criminally and civilly liable for the damage caused to Mendoza.

Finally, the management reminded the public to be more discerning of content they see online, and to help take down the voyeuristic and defamatory content.

“We are grateful for your continued trust and support for Ms. Mendoza,” the statement said.

“Rest assured that we are taking all necessary steps to hold the individuals involved accountable and we are coordinating with the proper government agencies to remove this content online permanently,” it added.Image
