Kisses Delavin talks about Donny Pangilinan; reveals plans for new love team partner

MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actress Kisses Delavin has talked about her relationship with former love team Donny Pangilinan.

In a recent interview with Boy Abunda in his “Tonight With Boy Abunda,” Kisses said though she and Donny have their own career paths now, the friendship between them still remains.

“I think na ‘pag nagkita kami, we’ll totally be friendly to each other pa rin, but we don’t have upcoming projects anymore. I think different na ang career path ng bawat isa. I’m very thankful kasi naging masaya naman talaga ang DonKiss journey. Just because it ended doesn’t mean that it wasn’t good,” Kisses said.

Completing host Boy Abunda’s sentence, Kisses said, “Some good things must come to an end to make way for better things.”

Kisses also revealed that ABS-CBN is planning to pair her with another Kapamilya actor for her new love team, but she refused to elaborate on it.

“I can’t say anything about that. Yes, Tito Boy. ‘Yun talaga ang plan,” Kisses said.

When asked by Boy if it’s Joshua Garcia, Kisses said: “I would be honored, but I can’t say anything yet.”

Kisses confirmed the love team’s breakup last June through a lengthy Instagram post.

Donny reacted on the post, saying that he was surprised on what happened on their love team, but he respects Kisses’ statement.

“I’ll be honest—it was a surprise. To my understanding, the partnership was still under review because of different expectations, with no final decision yet. But let’s please respect her statement. I sincerely wish Kisses and her family the best,” Donny said.
