The scandal between Vhong Navarro and Deniece Cornejo has once again become the focus of public opinion as new developments continue to erupt, leaving the actor’s wife – Tanya Bautista – unable to do anything to stop it.
According to recent news, Deniece Cornejo has made unexpected moves related to the lawsuit with Vhong Navarro. After being denied the request to arrest the actor, Deniece has not given up but continued to pursue the case by filing new legal documents.
Many sources said that Deniece has used stronger measures to affirm that she will not stop until she achieves her goals. This puts Vhong and his family in a more tense situation than ever.
Although always standing by Vhong Navarro, this time, Tanya Bautista is said to be unable to intervene or do anything to change the course of the case. She had been strong in defending her husband and accompanying him during difficult times. However, with Deniece’s new actions, Tanya can only wait and put her faith in the legal system.
Many fans are worried that if Deniece continues to take stronger legal steps, Vhong Navarro may once again face a dangerous situation.
The online community immediately exploded with mixed opinions. Some people think that Deniece is just trying to find justice for herself, while many others expressed outrage, saying that this is just a publicity stunt.
Although the case has been going on for many years, it seems that the story between Vhong Navarro and Deniece Cornejo has not yet come to an end. Will there be any more shocking developments in the future? Let’s wait and see!
Vhong Navarro’s wife, speaks out: ‘I didn’t enter into a commitment with him for nothing’
Vhong Navarro’s wife, Tanya Bautista-Navarro, spoke out regarding the It’s Showtime host’s current ordeal.
It will be recalled that Vhong was imprisoned for the rape case filed by Deniece Cornejo.
Tanya had just returned from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) where she visited Vhong before appearing before the media.
Although Vhong had reportedly spoken to her two children, she said she didn’t know what they were feeling while they were in jail, especially since she had no one to talk to.
“It was the longest two days of our lives. I was referring to the back-to-back warrants of arrest,” said Tanya.
Tanya also said that she didn’t know what to do, especially since the attack on them was a surprise and she didn’t know what to do as it seemed like they had no one to fight back.
“I would describe it as a rollercoaster. We are at the point where it is almost over but I don’t know how they are going to prove what they are saying. It was reversed,” he said.
“This time the news is different. You were being attacked and you were not prepared. You have no weapon, you have no gear to protect yourself. That’s how I feel,” he added.
The next step they will take is to petition for bail because they have already provided all the evidence.
Tanya is also confused because she does not know what they see as probable cause, especially since Vhong has not deviated from his story from beginning to end.
“Vhong was very consistent since Day 1. He confessed everything to me. So I don’t know what they see as probable cause,” he said.
Tanya admitted that she is worried about the comedian and TV host because of the possibility of him being transferred to the Taguig City Jail.
“That’s very scary. It’s a threat to his life. I think our lawyers also filed a motion to stop it from going that far. Right now, my concern is security for Vhong. So we will fight and I know we will win this.
Tanya admitted that she didn’t know that there were many people supporting Vhong, especially since she chooses not to look at people’s comments on social media.
“Thank you but I don’t read. I’m not that strong. Not everyone believes in Vhong either. So I’d rather not read. So our friends send screenshots,” said Tanya.
“I didn’t commit to him for nothing. When this happened, we were just boyfriends, girlfriends. I saw how much he was telling the truth, so I still married him,” she added.
Tanya also believes that there are people behind what she described as a “smear campaign.”
“We have an idea the people behind this smear campaign but I can’t say. Suddenly we were being attacked. We have no one to fight.”
