Paulo Avelino reunites with son Aki in New York
After six long months, Paulo reunites with Aki.
ABS-CBN actor Paulo Avelino is now spending quality time with his 11-year-old son Aki in New York.

Aki is Paulo’s son with former girlfriend LJ Reyes.

Paulo reunited with Aki on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, after the 33-year-old Kapamilya actor’s concert tour in the U.S. with rumored girlfriend Janine Gutierrez and Ogie Alcasid.

In a series of posts on Instagram Stories, Paulo shared to his followers a glimpse of his bonding with Aki. In one of his posts, the father-and-son tandem was discussing the blonde streak on Aki’s hair.

Aki said, “My hair color was blue. It changed to green…”

While combing his son’s hair with his fingers, Paulo said, “It’s blonde now.”

In his next post, Paulo showed Aki walking with a friend. On Friday, April 8, 2022, Paulo uploaded another video of him fetching Aki.

In a previous interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Paulo revealed his plan to meet his son in the U.S. since it has been six months since Aki and his mom, LJ Reyes, moved to the Big Apple.

He said, “I mentioned it to his mommy and was just asking what the dates were. I’m already there, I might as well see my son. I haven’t seen him since they left.”

Paulo also revealed his plan to introduce Janine to Aki.
