Joey de Leon Speaks About Alleged Cheating In Pinoy Henyo

JOEY DE LEON – Eat Bulaga host Joey de Leon spoke about the alleged cheating that happened to “Pinoy Henyo” on Valentine’s Day, February 14.

Pinoy Henyo is one of Eat Bulaga’s most popular segments. Since its debut in 2004, it has also become a popular parlor game among people of different ages, genders, socioeconomic backgrounds, and religions.

Host Joey de Leon dubbed the segment “pambansang laro ng bayan” due to its enormous popularity as a Filipino parlor game. The daily elimination round is usually attended by three couples. The basic goal of the game is to correctly guess the word in under two minutes.

All additional responses will be delayed by three seconds. The couple who accomplished the task in the shortest amount of time progresses to the jackpot round.

The video of a couple who played during the Valentine’s Day episode of “Pinoy Henyo” were accused of cheating. Eat Bulaga deleted the said episode on Youtube after it became controversial. The woman seemingly mouthing the answer to her partner.

“Simulan na natin ang pautakan pero [uunahin] ko na itong warning na ito,” the veteran host said. “Sa isang laro, ano ang ginagawa mo para mawala ‘yung saya o ‘yung fun? ‘Pag ikaw ay nandaya.”

“‘Pag nagchi-cheating ka sa isang game, wala na ‘yung fun,” he added
