To show support for Luis Manzano’s “It’s Your Lucky Day”, Kapamilya superstar Vice Ganda shared this post.
The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) has suspended the ABS-CBN noontime program “It’s Showtime” for 12 airing days. Accordingly, this decision was finalized after many viewers lodged multiple complaints before the MTRCB bothered over the July 25 episode.
In the said episode, hosts Vice Ganda and Ion Perez have this cake incident.
ABS-CBN and GMA both made an appeal but MTRCB denied these appeals which prompted the media giant to not pursue in making appeals and let the show serve the suspension. However, they stressed that they stand by their belief that no pertinent law has been violated.
“It’s Your Lucky Day” will be hosted by Luis Manzano and others like Robi Domingo, Jennica Garcia, and Melai Cantiveros. This new show will be aired temporarily, filling the slot left by Showtime while it is serving the 12-day suspension.
In a previous article, the show already bid goodbye. But this goodbye is only temporary. Host Vhong Navarro expressed that they will miss the madlang people but they also know that this is just going to be quick. The suspension will end before they even know it and they promised to come back as a better show.
“We will be right back. Mami-miss namin kayo, pero mabilis lang ‘yan. Kaya magkita-kita tayo muli,” says Navarro.
And to show his support for the new show that will replace Showtime in the meantime is Vice Ganda. The comedian superstar shared this photo with Manzano with the caption that holds a double meaning: “It’s your LUCKY day!”
