In the latest episode of It’s Showtime, mainstay host Vice Ganda did this to prove something to “EXpecially For You” Searcher.

Acceptance plays a crucial role to one’s mental health, well-being, and quality of life. We need to accept the reality and we need to accept someone regardless of any flaw. What comes with acceptance is love as only those who love truly can accept fully.

In relationships, not all romance end because of cheating and betrayal. Some end because of insecurity for oneself and in the recent episode of It’s Showtime’s “EXpecially For You” segment, one of the reasons why Searcher April’s relationship with Andrei ended was her condition.

She has alopecia. This is a disorder that causes hair loss and the same condition that brings her insecurity, adding to the many things that have been bothering her. She felt like Andrei deserves someone better than her, someone who doesn’t have the same condition as hers. This is also the reason why she often wears  wig and bandana.

Talking about wig, host Vice Ganda can totally relate to the deeper value of this object holds. It’s not just about fashion or for aesthetics, for them, it gives them power, energy, and a boost in confidence.

The host preached about the probable effects of her condition to her life and concept of self-love and beauty which led to the end of their relationship. But as someone who is already living the reality of unconditional love with Ion Perez, he did something just to prove his point.

He can relate to her story and became emotional. To show that he is loved and accepted despite having no thick hair, he removed his wig.

“Hindi ako nangingimi, kung makakatulong ito para makakuha ng katiting na kumpiyansa si April, why not?” says the comedian who did not hesitate to do it if it can, in one way or another, make her realize that her condition won’t make her value as a person get any lesser.

“Nasa punto na ako na wala akong paki. Mayroon na akong taong mahal na mahal ako kahit wala akong wig. Hindi na rin ako affected sa mga pangit na pangit sa akin kapag wala akong wig,” the superstar added based on the video.

He expressed that he is loved not just by Ion but also by the madlang people, his family, and his friends with or without his wig.
