VICE GANDA – Kapamilya superstar Vice Ganda has this statement after Its Showtime launched officially on GMA’s GTV.

When a door closes, another one opens, and for Its Showtime, when TV5 decided to not renew their block time deal with them, another platform opened and that is GTV of GMA. This Saturday, a history was made as Kapamilya and Kapuso got united.

The pilot episode of the Kapamilya noontime show widely trended online and earned hundreds and thousands of live viewers online.

Kapuso stars Rayver, Rodjun, Pokwang, Barbie, and Sanya were present and they all took turns greeting “What’s up, Madlang People?!” Main host Vice Ganda also made a “pasavogue” entrance by taking a chopper ride from the ABS-CBN building to the GMA building.

“Ang saya dito,” quips Imperial and Sanya followed, “Grabe, ramdam na ramdam namin na pamilya tayo dito, Kapamilya, Kapuso na.”

On the same day, three noontime shows aired simultaneously – Showtime on GTV, E.A.T of TVJ on TV5, and revamped Eat Bulaga on GMA. The viewers were divided.

To recall, Showtime was offered by TV5 to be on their 4:30 PM slot but they respectfully refused as accepting this will destroy their noontime brand. They also value their viewers who remained loyal to them following the challenges and adversities the show and the network met.

And during this big celebration, Vice happily expressed based on a report from PEP:

“It is really happening right now, right here, buong bansa, at buong mundo, saksi dito sa makasaysayang selebrasyon natin. Wala nang hihigit sa pinakamatinding plot twist ng taon — dahil ang Kapamilya at Kapuso ngayon ay pinag-isa.”

But at the end of it all, they stressed that the real winners are the viewers.
