Vice Ganda is aware of the current Eat Bulaga issue

It’s Showtime Vice Ganda has this reaction amid the issue surrounding the rumored rebranding that the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga will have.

These past few days, netizens and avid viewers of the Kapuso noontime show have been talking about the change in management and the alleged hosts’ replacements. It was alleged that legendary trio Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon will be taken out of the show.

As of this writing, Eat Bulaga and TAPE Inc., the production company handling the noontime show, haven’t released a statement yet about this issue.

Vice Ganda, It’s Showtime‘s host, EB’s rival show, is aware of and observing the said issue, based on the article by Abante entertainment writer Jun Lalin. A source close to the Unkabogable Star shared his reaction to this.

“Siyempre, tahimik lang si Meme Vice, pero nakikiramdam din siya, pati ibang mga taga-‘It’s Showtime’ kung ano nga ba ang mangyayari sa ‘Eat Bulaga’. Kung totoo ba ‘yung mga tsikang magkakaroon ng changes,” the source shared.

The source added that Vice and Showtime are waiting for clarification if ever it is true that the TVJ will leave EB because they have to prepare also for this kind of possibility.

“Siyempre, kailangan may bago rin na gawin sa ‘It’s Showtime’. Ganoon naman ‘yon, hindi sila puwedeng makampante na lang!” the source said. On the other hand, the source said that Vice Ganda and those who are in the Kapamilya noontime show are also saddended by this issue about their rival show.

“Nakaka-sad din siyempre. Saka ngayon naman, hindi na ganoon ‘yung kumpetensya, ‘di ba? Si Vice nga, may pagkakataon pa na binabanggit niya ang ‘Eat Bulaga’ kapag nagsu-show,” the source added.
