Kapamilya host-actor Vhong Navarro happy to see his son as part of the Coco Martin starrer.

In a post on X, actor-dancer Vhong Navarro expressed his happiness over his son’s acting break in “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo”.

After a year, still continuously captivating many Filipinos is the action-drama series “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” which stars Coco Martin. The program still continues to air leaving people impressed with its strong performance on primetime.

The series’ pilot episode aired on February 13, 2023.

In a previous article, Coco left an assurance to the fans of Batang Quiapo. According to him, “puchu-puchu” is not their thing and what he can promise to the viewers is that they will always deliver with hard work and passion.

For the second year of the series which will start this February 19, new characters are introduced in the teaser. Tessie Tomas, Nonie Buencamino, Jaime Fabregas, and Elijah Canlas are giving more star power to the series.

Along with the award-winning actors, newbies were also included and one of them is Yce Navarro, son of actor-dancer Vhong Navarro.

In a post shared on X, the Showtime host expressed happiness and gratitude for this opportunity for his son. He wrote, “Nakaka proud na mapabilang ang anak ko at makasama sa cast ng Batang Quiapo. Goodluck [Yce Navarro] Yahoo! Thank you, Lord. Aabangan ko to! Maraming Salamat, Direk CM”

Meanwhile, this is not the first showbiz opportunity given to Yce. He was supposed to be a part of the remake of Tabing Ilog, however, he missed this chance as Vhong just won’t allow him yet. For the actor-host, what he wanted was his son to finish his college first.

As for Yce, he has already determined what he wants and that is to pursue a career in show business.
