If there’s someone Kapamilya host Vhong Navarro has leaned on during the most difficult moments in his life, it is Tanya Bautista, his wife. She has always been for him and with him. She never left.
They tied the knot in 2019 in Japan which was witnessed by Navarro’s co-hosts Karylle, Vice Ganda, and Anne Curtis and friends such as Billy Crawford and John Lloyd Cruz.
They have been together for 11 years before tying the knot. This year, they will be celebrating their 4th wedding anniversary.
And during the Monday telecast of his show “Its Showtime”, he shared his Holy Week and everyday vows for his wife.
His “panata” is to love her every day.
He added based on ABS-CBN report, “Malaki ang pagkukulang ko [sa kaniya]. Sabi ko nga, ‘pag labas ko ng kulungan, gusto ko ‘yung time ko — dati kasi inuuna ko ang trabaho, e — pero ngayon mas gusto ko siya na unahin nang unahin nang unahin, kasama ang mga anak ko.”
To recall, Navarro served jail time due to charges filed against him regarding the incident that happened in 2014 that involved Deniece Cornejo. He was detained at the National Bureau of Investigation for two months and at the Taguig City Jail for two weeks.
He got temporary freedom in December 2022 and in a March 2023 decision, the charges filed against him were dismissed and junked. And during this time, his wife became more visible, and just like before, she did not leave him.
