In It’s Showtime, Vhong Navarro thanked the people who helped him to get justice.

VHONG NAVARRO – Supreme Court ruling shows “glaring inconsistencies” in Deniece Cornejo’s statements and Vhong Navarro is grateful for the dismissal of the cases.

In a previous article, the Supreme Court’s Third Division ordered to dismiss the cases filed by model Deniece Cornejo against It’s Showtime host Vhong Navarro. Cornejo’s accounts against Navarro are accordingly “manifestly inconsistent and highly deficient, doubtful, and unclear.”

Atty. Alma Mallonga shared that the actor is very happy after hearing the court’s decision.

And in the recent episode of the noontime show, the host expressed his gratitude for the result and to the people who never left him.

Vhong Navarro

In the noontime show, he expressed that the dismissal is an answered prayer for him. He almost lost hope, especially when he spent some time inside the prison, but he did not stop praying.

“Eto na po, dininig na po ng Supreme Court yung dasal natin. Nagkakaroon na po ng maganda ang ginawa nilang pagresolba sa kaso ko. Kaya maraming-maraming salamat sa Supreme Court,” he said.

He also thanked his lawyers who fought for him and with him, his network ABS-CBN for still welcoming him, his bosses Cory Vidanes, Carlo Katigbak, and Mark Lopez for still giving him a chance, his talent manager Chito Rono, his group Streetboys, and his fans and supporters.

He did not forget to also thank his wife and children,

“At ngayon po, dahil sa Supreme Court, naniniwala po ulit ako na may justice system sa Pilipinas,” he added.

To recall, Navarro was arrested last year and served jail time for r4pe charges. Before 2022 ended, he was able to bail out for Php 1 million and this was granted because of inconsistencies in the claims of Cornejo.
