Sofia Andres got a little vulnerable in her latest interview and showed a side we don’t get to see in beautiful photos on social media. The actress welcomed Karen Davila into her home to talk about her family life, being a mom, her career, and why she’s not married to long-term partner Daniel Miranda.

Sofia Andres Gets Teary-Eyed When Asked About Marriage

Sofia Believes That It Will Happen “In God’s Time”

In Karen’s latest video for her YouTube channel, Sofia shared her experiences as a child from a broken family. Sofia admits that her parent’s separation was a traumatic ordeal. It led Karen to ask if it was the reason why Sofia wasn’t married yet.

The question got Sofia tearing up. She said, “Siguro Ms. Karen, it’s not the time yet talaga. In God’s time. In God’s time kasi married or hindi, you will never know eh, kung kayo ba talaga. Kasi may mga married nga na naghihiwalay pa rin eh. Meron namang hindi married na nagtatagal naman. You know. So, in God’s time, Ms. Karen. It’s scary.”

Sofia and Daniel have been together since 2017. The couple are parents to their four-year-old daughter Zoe.

Sofia shares, “I was telling my partner nga, Daniel, na if we’re not ready, kasi he has a broken, it’s not complete also, their family. So, if we’re not ready, we don’t have to rush it eh. ‘Yung foundation muna, respect importante Ms. Karen, di ba? Respect talaga. ‘Yung love, andyan lang ‘yan eh, ‘yung respeto hindi naman ‘yun agad nakukuha.”

Aside from emphasizing the importance of mutual respect in a relationship, Sofia expresses her appreciation of Daniel. “I am just very lucky na supportive yung partner ko and hindi siya nasa showbiz. Kaya po wala along reklamo kasi he’s very loving, he very supportive sa anak. Eh, daddy’s girl po ‘yung anak namin. I will not stay kung hindi po talaga maganda yung relationship. ”

Sofia On Stability At Home

Sofia puts value in making a peaceful family. It’s a desire that was probably why she got pregnant early, shares Sofia. “Iyon ‘yung nasa blind spot ko, Ms. Karen, I want to live on my own. Kasi nga parang ang gulo gulo sa bahay namin. I want to start to…creating my own,” said Sofia.

Creating her own she did as Sofia’s home is proof of her achievements so far and many more to come. Online, Sofia constantly shares how she keeps her home cozy and Pinterest-worthy as she progresses in fixing it. She also set up another Instagram account for it, different from her main account.
