“To the dad you already are and the dad I know you’ll be,” Ria captioned on her Instagram. “Love you @onlyzanjoemarudo, so excited for this new chapter with you Happy first Father’s Day.”
Ria’s post featured two photos of her and Zanjoe on the beach. The first photo sees Ria and Zanjoe walking hand in hand towards the sea. The second photo shows off Ria’s baby bump.
In the comments section, well-wishes poured in from Ria and Zanjoe’s friends, fans, and followers.
One netizen stood out, however, and bashed the announcement. Ria responded rightfully with the best reply.

2024 Is A Big Year For Mr. And Mrs. Marudo
In February of this year, Ria and Zanjoe got engaged. “Forever sounds good,” said the announcement post. Shortly after, they tied the knot on Ria’s birthday March 23, 2024. Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte officiated the ceremony as Ria and Zanjoe shared the occasion with those closest and nearest to them.
Gela Atayde, Ria’s younger sister, said last March that Ria wasn’t pregnant. Looking back, Gela’s comment highlights the “miracle” of Ria’s pregnancy. “My sister has PCOS and it would be a miracle if she has a child. Well, at least my parents also are supportive for that. My sister nga kasi is at the age—turning 32 this year medyo kailangan na din,” said Gela.
